DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning is an exfoliation and hair removal treatment, gently removing build up of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz hair) from the surface of the skin using a medical grade scalpel.

BRIGHTER COMPLEXION
Usually vellus hairs are thin, short and light coloured hairs covering the surface of the whole face and neck, sometimes these hairs can also be darker in colour depending on your genes, which can unfortunately make the appearance of your skin appear dull, removing that layer of hairs will instantly give your skin a much more brighter complexion revealing your true skin tone.
DEEPER SKINCARE PENETRATION
When we apply skincare products to our skin 40% of it is already being absorbed into the palm of our hands rather then 100% penetrating into our skin, when we apply skin care products on our face another percentage of that product is absorbing into our vellus hair or penetrating into our hair follicles rather then our skins epidermis as-well as when we have dead skin cells on the surface of our face it blocks the path way of skincare being able to penetrate through the epidermis. Dermaplaning removes both vellus hairs and dead skin cells, allowing the skin to be 100% bare which will allow your skincare products to work more efficiently as there will be nothing blocking the pathway between the product and the epidermis.

Every skin type produces vellus hair and dead skin cells, removing them with Dermaplaning will instantly results in smoother skin texture and appearance. The removal of dead skin cells will make your skin extremely soft to touch and the removal of vellus hair will make your skin extremely smooth visually, evening skin tone. No! Dermaplaning feels like a gentle sweeping motion on the skin and will not be painful at all.
No! When we perform a dermaplaning treatment we are removing all the fine, short, light coloured hairs that cover our whole face and neck area, these hairs are called vellus hair. Vellus hair grow in a different hair follicle to the rest of the hairs we grow, therefore removing them will not make them grow back darker or thicker, once removed they will grow back the exact same or minimise after a certain amount of treatments.
Yes! Dermaplaning is for all skin types. Although if you have severe active acne, rosacea, a current sunburn, eczema occurring around the facial area or are taking any skin thinning medications Dermaplaning wouldn’t be recommended for you.
Avoid using harsh chemical ingredients such as AHA, BHA, Vitamin A, Retinol, Tretinoin, Glycolic acid and other harsh acids for 7 DAYS
Avoid using scrubs or exfoliants for 7 DAYS
Avoid sun exposure for 3 DAYS
Avoid heat for 24 HOURS this includes hot showers, sauna, exercising ect.
Avoid makeup for 24 HOURS
Apply sunscreen to protect the skin
Keep your skin hydrated, ensuring your keeping up with moisturising your skin and drinking plenty of water for that internal hydration!

ULTRASONIC HYDRO
Ultrasonic Hydro is a hydration treatment in which we use a device called an ultrasonic shovel to vibrate the skin with ultrasonic wavelengths making penetration with skincare products deeper and more effective. We apply a cream based hydration mask to the surface of the skin and use the metal wand attachment at the end of the ultrasonic shovel to deeper penetrate the mask into the skin resulting in a hydration boost.

LED LIGHT THERAPY
LED Light Therapy (as know as Light Emitting Diode) is a noninvasive skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light to penetrate the skins surface targeting problem areas of the skin, the process begins when photons of a specific wavelength are emitted from the LED device and penetrate into the skin. This gets absorbed by receptors in the cells, and this process improves cellular performance and encourages the body to produce more collagen, fibroblasts and elastin.
There are 6 different colours of LED to chose from and they all target different things in the body.

ULTRASONIC EXTRACTIONS
Ultrasonic Extractions is a treatment in which we use a device called an ultrasonic shovel to vibrate the skin with ultrasonic wavelengths allowing us to extract blackheads, whiteheads, oils, makeup, fake tan residue and more from the pores.
Your pores will instantly look clearer, less dull and overall brighter. As we are extracting the pores you will no longer have that bumpy skin texture that occurs in pore prone areas. Ultrasonic Extractions will smooth skin texture and make your skin incredibly soft to touch.
After the treatment your skin can also become irritated by the firm pressure being applied to the surface on the skin, resulting in redness lasting 10 minutes – 24 hours, or small lumps forming on treated area, this occurs when a deep blackhead or whitehead is extracted causing the individual pore to inflame, lasting 10 minutes – 24 hours.
Yes, Ultrasonic Extractions can be painful. As we apply firm pressure to treated area it can make the skin sensitive to the ultrasonic shovel. It can be a little uncomfortable around the forehead and chin area, and painful around the nose area as the nose is mostly made from bone and cartilage rather then muscle and fat.
Yes! All skin types can receive this treatment. Although would not recommend for severely dry skin as it will further irritate the skin.
